Can't you ever get your mind out of the hellmouth?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Susan, many sympathies. She sounds like she was a remarkable woman.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm so sorry, Susan.

[complete shift in topic]

I am done with classes for the semester. Had my last one tonight and turned in the paper that Erin proofed for me. Thank you again, Erin! All I have left is one final next week. The prof gave us the final today so that we could prepare notes, outlines, etc. Makes it a more difficult final, in my opinion, but oh well.

I am thrilled that this semester is almost over. It's been an exceptionally difficult semester, and I'm not exactly sure why. The work hasn't been all that hard, but there has been a LOT of it.

I'm not taking any classes this summer, and I'm both happy and not happy about that. I'm not taking any because there are none scheduled at times that I can take one. It's going to set me back at least one semester. That part sucks. But, I sure could use the break.

I guess so. I've decided I'm not going to unpack.

That's okay, right?

Aww, Sail, glad it got worked out, but sorry it was so frustrating inbetween!

The Good Date is on his way over to my place for the first time. I don't know why this makes me so nervous

Eee! I'm so jealous and excited for Jen. Sniff.

Meanwhile, we just arranged the order of our big show in May. So exciting. But so hard--24 performances, trying to get the flow right, and arranging so that people who are in more than one number aren't on one after another, etc etc. Madness.

AND, I've just agreed (masterminded!) a plan to do a number on Wednesday that is...rather out of my comfort zone. I'm still a little shocked I suggested it. We'll see how it goes, and if I manage to keep a straight face and not turn bright red. And if the audience enjoys it. Eek. (I'm doing "Better Man", by Clint Black. Only porny.)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Thanks for the sympathies, everyone.

In the department of "life goes on," Bridezilla must henceforth be known simply as "my May bride," because she's mellowed out since last time I dealt with her. We had a nice planning meeting, they've already paid me, and I think everything will work out OK.

While I was out, Annabel fell and somehow whacked her head against the corner of this little wooden puzzle she has, giving her her first really prominent bruise across her cheek up to the corner of her eye. But she seems fine.
