Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Epic! Good to see you.

So I went with frozen pizza for the 3 of us. DH is out of town. Cheese for Brendon, Pepperoni for Bobby, and Spinach & Portabello for me. Yum.

We sat down to watch the basketball game then they went into the stands to interview a former Lakers player. Oh My God! Rick Fox is better looking than ever. What a beautiful man. Who'd of thought it would be possible for him to look better in retirement. To add to the beauty his daughter was fast asleep on his chest with the noisy game all around her. Then #1 son tells me he read about Fox in Phil Jackson's book and he said he was the smartest player that he ever coached. Dead now.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

And now, I must leave, and head for a Statistics class. Sigh. "Math is hard."

Not likely to return to see the evening crew, don't usually get home from class until after 10.

Have a lovely evening y'all.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, it turns out the japanese restaurant down the street has WiFi.

I know this, because my wireless connection is still fucked, and my Tivo is now freeloading off of theirs.

Domo. I should go order some food sometime, I really should. It would only be polite.

Don't say that too loud. A certain roommate of mine might here you.

Hee. Japanese restaurant wifi? That seems funny. I mean, coffeeshop sure, but...are people surfing while they eat their sushi?

People are annoying the hell out of me. When you say you'll ship in 4-6 weeks, I'm obviously hoping for 4. And when you say 7? PISS ME OFF. When you agree to meet me at 8pm? Saying at 8:30 you'll be there at 9? PISSES ME OFF. President Bush eating up the primetime TV for no reason? PISSES ME OFF. Harumph.

I'm so with you on this! We ordered an extra lens for our microform scanner-reader-printer nearly a year ago. I was so excited when they FINALLY delivered it today...until I discovered that IT'S THE SAME LENS WE ALREADY HAVE, not the larger one we ordered. We paid for this probably nine months ago. Argh!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just had my tryout at Princeton Review. It went OK, I guess. Not spectacular, but I wasn't terrible, either.

Eeek! The Good Date is on his way over to my place for the first time. I don't know why this makes me so nervous.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hey there. We went to Davis Square but did not make it into NERAX tonight- I was feeling too fragile (and I think Tom was too, to be honest) to try to fight the crownds tonight. But we had a nice walk, and had a beer at Redbones, and bought some nice stuff at the fancy beer store for our own stash. Tom is in the shower, we changed the sheets to Egyptional cotton, and we'll be going to sleep soon.

Cindy, things did get better when I got home - I self medicated on a little bit o'weed and that actually helped quite a lot with relaxing and breathing and my stomach ache. It also helped me polish off entirely too much delicious bittersweet chocolate, but, hell, it was a tough day.
