Ah, geekery.
I've been slowly memorizing "The Lay of Larethian" from "The Lays of Beleriand" - all 4224 lines. I'm up around 300 now, I keep getting distracted by other things, like sleep, and Alfredo, and the rest of the world. But eventually...
My head is full of useless trivia, which is why I appreciate the rest of my friends - when they need a strange etymology, that's what I'm there for. When I need help living, that's what they're there for. :)
I also just came home to a PK gift bag waiting for me at my front door!
Jess, thank you!!
I kept a diary in dwarf-runes when I was 16. But the language was english.

Oh, god. Thanks for reminding me. I took notes in school in runish script.
I'd completely forgotten.
You are all way geekier than me. I barely achieved nerd-dom.

Only because you were busy becoming a music geek.
wrod.Fantasy geeks are a different breed.
Like Sci-Fi, played D&D in high school, have a home computer network, am a computer programmer. I think I can call myself a geek, but the writing in a fictional language is really hard to trump.
Did anyone ever write an Elvish/Klingon dictionary?
