I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Shopping accomplished. I have a dress that doesn't suck, pants that don't suck, a new bra and a new nightie. All of which go with my pink pumps. Yay.

And now to pack...

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

All that needs to be done here is done. Tomorrow morning, I hit the road. I'll be able to check in here early tomorrow, but after that, I'll probably be dark until May 2 (when my internet is due to be set up).

Settlement went very, very well. The buyer and realtor were impressed by how clean the house was. Apparently, some people (like the people I bought from) leave behind some real horror shows.

What is even happening?

Yay, ANNE! Sleep well, and travel safely.

It'll be interesting to see if Jeeves is pissy or ultra-extra-clingy when I pick him up tomorrow.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Good luck, Anne! Have a good trip.

Is it normal for Owen to thump his head on stuff, purposely? He's taken to banging his head (just once or twice at a time) on the coffee table and the entertainment center.

Mostly lurking...

Good luck, Anne! We'll miss you!

I'm updating my resume. It's too long. Grrrrr...

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Yay for vw's good day!

Shopping accomplished. I have a dress that doesn't suck, pants that don't suck, a new bra and a new nightie.

I tried to do that yesterday, but it didn't work for me. EVERYTHING sucked. Nothing fit properly, and it looked horrendous. Not to mention the fact that I've been losing some weight, but sizing seems to be shrinking as well. Body demon issues ahoy!

I'll be wearing my comfy flannel PJs to the wedding on Saturday.

edit: Travel safely, Anne! I'm going to miss the fact that you were just up I-95 if I should ever somehow break the entropy that has set in.

Because books.

Yes. Sigh. Sara discovered if she bangs her head against the wall in the hallway, the wineglasses on the shelf on the other side of the wall jingle. So she did it for a while all. the. time.

Also? The more you make a big deal out of it, the more he'll do it. Ignore it. (You know, while watching that he doesn't actually hurt himself.)

Kind of. Is he doing it really hard, or just kind of semi-hard, like he's testing to see if it really is going to hurt, every time?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd think it's young for him to be immersing himself in existential angst, but I do understand kids develop more quickly these days.
