All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

Suddenly it's raining. Why this has caused me to weary of the Dreamweaver tutorial I'm doing and make me long to sit in the recliner with my soft fluffy black cat, I dunno.

Why, it's magic. Here's Mishka to walk on my keyboard and distract me. Goooood kitty!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

This is why I said I was a bit frightened that I knew Betazoid wedding customs. I just outed myself as a big ol' ST:TNG fan. In the way that Andrew, Jonathan and Warren would be proud.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just outed myself as a big ol' ST:TNG fan

Oddly enough, I am not a huge fan of ST:TNG, but that detail stuck in my brain anyway.

Yes, and your comment was the one that made me wonder what I'd missed. But I hadn't really missed anything, except a reference I knew I was missing in the first place.

I think it caught my eye, because some of us (old Bronzers) sometimes referred to people who posted at the Bronze Beta as Betazoids, but I never knew there was a TV reference to that term. I get such a good education, here.

What is even happening?

Thanks, Heather. How's Mr. H and family doing?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

His grandmother is fine. Mr. H griped at her a bit for self-diagnosing. We're going up there in June instead of May because a) I'd like more time to train Oz before we take him to other people's houses. b) Mr. H's incredibly generous parents just sold their DC condo and are giving Mr. H their newish truck, and us a nice little check which we will be completely responsible with and pay debts and put in savings.

Also, I am madly in love with Oz.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I knew the betazoid wedding customs too.

The weird thing about being sat on by a baby with a poopy diaper is that I never knew it was coming. He somehow stealth climbed the back of my computer chair--oh, I knew they were back there, but not until he whomped on my head did I know he was UP there.

I really, really want Erin's dinner.
