Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Coding and Sleeping

Also, I have no idea what I'm going to make for dinner. I think I used up all the stuff I got for dinners the last time I went grocery shopping.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm having turkey sandwiches on matzoh. I envy the gorgonzolah byurgers, that sounds dee-lish.

Green Day girl sounds adorable. My foavorite local toddler was running around in her Beastie Boys T-shirt on Sunday. So cute!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Grilled cheese with tomatoes and bacon, corn on the cob and a salad.

Easy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Is the War Memorial Building in SF a fancy place? (eta: jealous of Lilty's pretty hair and Godiva, now)

Yeah, it's the opera house.

-t, I think the War Memorial is on Van Ness near the Opera, and its crowd would tend towards black ties on men; satin and diamonds on the ladies. My best guess is that you should wear clothes AND shoes.

It's next to Davies, the Symphony's building. It is itself the Opera House (and ballet too, for that matter.)

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Mmm dinner. I'm watching Lost with my friend after a last-minute WalMart trip, and she wants to pick up dinner. I'm thinking of continuing my day of decadence and picking up ribs or the like.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

gorgonzola cheeseburgers with bacon

The most delicious heart attack EVAH!

[Not that I should talk -- including tonight, I've eaten out the past three nights, and my lunch was fried chicken with a side of macaroni and cheese. I think my arteries may go on strike.]

Now tagless for your comfort.

The porcelain finish on my kitchen sink is ancient and pitted. I can get it really clean with a bit of baking soda and a sponge without breaking a sweat.

But I so rarely do this.

Also, I have no idea what I'm going to make for dinner. I think I used up all the stuff I got for dinners the last time I went grocery shopping.

I specifically bought gorgonzola cheese last week because I thought this sounded good. I need to use it up else I'll just end up with uneaten, stinky cheese in the fridge.

Green Day girl sounds adorable. My foavorite local toddler was running around in her Beastie Boys T-shirt on Sunday. So cute!

We're going to see them in a week, so I'm definitely getting Owen a wee American Idiot t-shirt.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Damn. Now *I* want a cheeseburger. Not a fast-food one, but a big fat juicy one (acceptable sources include Applebee's, TGI Friday's, etc., because they have fat juicy burgers and not flat sad fast-food ones).

Oh! There's an Applebee's on the way home from my therapist's office! Which wouldn't matter normally, except that I have an appt. after work, and I could call in an order and they have that ToGo! thing where they'll bring it out to your car, and -- fat juicy burger!

I think I have a plan. A darn good plan.

And I keep wondering why DH's cholesterol is high. His doctor probably wants to kick my ass.

Yeah, it's the opera house.

Does that mean I should get a lot more dressed up than I previously thought? I think I'll go long black skirt to be sure, I think that still fits.

Go decadence, choose decadence, Lilty.
