Yay on both the roof and the interviews, Katie! Good luck!
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
jobma~jobma~ jobma~
Dammit, now I'm earwormed with the f#@%ing Badgers song again. Nevertheless, jobma is on the way~~~~~~~~
Yay! for Lilty vacation. When you off and flying? Have a fun and safe trip whenever it is.
That would be me. I don't want an exercise video, I just want to learn to dance. Sounds like I have to join all the other bored suburban matrons in hipscarves to do that.
She's very good about reminding you to check your posture (tummy tucked in, flat back, chest raised) before each new move. I haven't made it to the 'combinations' section of the DVD yet; I use the 'movements' chapter as a cool-down after hopping around with the Veena & Neena Basic Moves DVD (which has very little to do with bellydancing, and a lot to do with hopping. Hop, hop, hop.)
This Sunday, I'm going to go check out a local tribal bellydance class. I hope I like it.
We've been banking my paycheck in a seperate account and (mostly) not touching it in an effort to build up some savings.
Yeah, that's more or less what I meant. I really, really hate touching the money that goes into the secondary account, and I"m generally very good at not even thinking of it when I'm budgeting things out. But an IRS bill and 400 and change in medical (and vet) expenses this week have me cringing every time I look at my account, and counting the minutes until my next check goes in.
It's pretty exciting to have an interview for a job that actually sounds interesting plus pays well. All those other interviews, pfui. Those were just for practice and meant to remind me that I need to bring my Cheat Sheet with me for filling in all those names, address, phone numbers and zip codes of places I barely remember having worked at.
The purple streak Deena put into my 'do stayed obediently underneath all the other hair, too.
Hey everyone, thank you very much.
...
her website might have good ideas if you were a sham.Oh, beth! *MWAH* I've found my new acronym or whatever those things are, thanks to your typo. I am not a sahm. I'm a sham. A sahm sham. A sham sahm. Whatever. I love it. I'm tagging it.
Flylady drives me batshit, because her site sends out all these testimonials, and you can't subscribe to her little reminders (which I ignore anyhow) without getting the frigging testimonals, too. So I've stopped following her schedule.
That'll show 'er.
My computer will not let me view the Serenity trailer.
Welcome to the world, Isaac!!!
Now, if only I have such an easy time over at the CCDE office. I'm not holding my breath, though. These other things have just been too easy. There needs to be a karmic balance at some point.
What -t said, you have already paid in full. Go you!

Job~ma, Katerina.
It was a typo - but I like sham better than sahm better. because really - what mom stays at home?
I was also interested in bellydance, but I'm a complete poseur when it comes to getting out of the computer chair and doing anything physical.
(strangely enough, I'm trying to talk my brain into accepting the Billy Idol concert as an excuse to drop some weight. Don't want to look too frumpy next to the shrieking girls who weren't even born the last time he was cool.)
This time tommorrow, I shall be in the air! "So if you care to find me, look to the western skies..."
I should have done some packing today. All I've done so far is buy new underwear, get a massage and haircut, buy books, and eat chocolate.
