Ok. I knew that wasn't going to go as hoped. Continuing Ed is filled with a bunch of idiots with their heads up their asses. They have no idea what they're talking about. Whatever. I bet $10 that I get what they say that they need, and when I come back they'll say, "No, that's not what we need. We need XYZ."

Northwestern had a fair number of porn scholars in its film department when I was there. One of my film profs had several articles on lesbian porn published in the New Yorker, and I think she may have written a book, and one of my TA's did his thesis on Asian women in American porn, entitled "Men, Women, and Their Big (Chop)Sticks."

My coworker/assistant sent out a document with the heading "Venereal Information." (Should have been "general".)

It's times like these, I miss working outside the home.

An old family friend just died not quite two hours ago. I mentioned him here, soon after he got his diagnosis. His treatment didn't work for very long. He's been so weak for months. I am glad his struggle is over, have even prayed for that, so I don't know why it's hitting me so hard.
