My first porn experience was with my much older husband who said I could not judge porn until I saw it. He took me to the (I kid you not) Bijou in Stockton, CA to see a film called 'Champagne.'

The floor was sticky...and there were plenty of raincoats.

Right in the middle, I hear a familiar, and yet unbelievable sound.

Snoring.

The putz feel ASLEEP and left me to fend off the leerers on my own.

God smiled on me and snapped the film a few minutes later. When the houselights came up, I sprinted for the door.

It's weird how, 25 years later, I still remember every frame of that film.

Most of my experience with porn has come from clicking on innocuous-looking links that take you to a porn website and somehow are always insanely hard to get away from. This only ever happens at work, so you're left imagining the trouble you'll be in if the boss walks in before you've found a way to make the vile gross disgusting thing DIE DIE DIE.

It's possible this has skewed my image of porn in general.

Y'all are porn wussies. I'm sorry. You might as well be tut-tutting about how you never watch any TV except the Discovery Channel and BBC America.

Y'know, my attitude towards porn is much the same as Sean. And, after Angel finished, almost all the TV I watched in the US was the Discovery Channel (inc. Animal Planet) and BBC America.

I really like the dynamic between the Hill and Carol characters. And both the actors do interesting things, make interesting choices for the characters.

A friend loaned us her Second Sight dvds, which we watched just a few weeks ago. Will I be watching the BBCA rebroadcast? Youdamnbetcha.

I got in a bidding war on ebay and pushed past what I really wanted to spend (and should spend) and now I'm kinda hoping to get sniped. Kinda but not really.
