'Trash'

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It is the way I do it...

Always Anti-fascist!

touche, ita. I've hardly ever seen anything I've experienced reflected in film, ever, and I...wait, bad example.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kids are also more likely to see real life love, financial stuff, and fighting than sex.

Pretty much zero from me on all of the above until it was time for me to get started with each (well, still fallen behind on one).

Hell, I've only seen one intent-to-kill fight (and that's maybe not so much intent-to-kill as don't-care-if-he-dies). I never knew how much money got you how much house, or any clear exposure to what seems to be standard coupley-closeness (my parents have their own way, which has worked just fine lo these 40 years).

And I really think that fictional love is more insidious and confusing than fictional sex.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

too much ego.

Teppy's brain: "I'm good at softball and writing. This blowjob stuff will be easy..."

Heh. Not *my* brain, silly! More like the stereotype of the college boy who is all "I am MAN! See my 15-foot COCK TREE!!! See me get off in 90 seconds!!!" Which isn't as impressive as they seem to think it is.

Shit, yeah. I think ita and I have the same Relationship Map installed.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I prefer written porn (smut, erotica, whatever you want to call it) to pictures.

...I still feel decidedly naughty for plying Jilli with porn.

I've watched fairly few porn movies, for which you are more than welcome to mock the hell out me for my wussiness. I do remember that the last place I lived in London, though, one of my flatmates wrangled free illegal cable TV, including all the pay per view, including masses of porn. Which was fun. But for the most part, fairly shite. Functional enough, but excruciatingly bland and tacky, which sure as hell counteracts the sexy. I saw one movie that didn't fit that description, and I was all 'Yay for the movie!' although I've no idea what it was called. Pretty as hell, though, complete with 20s outfits and pretty sets and nice cinematography and interracial double penetration in front of an audience of cocktail-guzzling jazzophiles.

Huh. Image-wise, I think I've now seen pretty much every conceivable thing man, woman or animal is capable of, and I'm now pretty damned difficult to shock.

I think that the things I find hot in the way of visual porn tend to be much the same as the things I find hot in the way of written porn, and both are informed by a sense of contextualising narrative. I presently have the most gorgeous picture on my mobile phone as a wallpaper - 2 very buff and dishevelled guys grappling in one hell of a kiss, shirts half off. There's a real power dynamic evident in the pose, and it is Hot. As. Hell. Pushes my buttons like nobody's business. But if it were simply a cheesecake smile full frontal of either or both of them, it would leave me cold.

Also - David, I think you should stop trying to be Pornier Than Thou, and what with your whole Blissfully Wedded To JZ And Coaching Kiddy Sports Teams thing, taunting the Minister is mean. Or at least it certainly looks mean. There may well be a context of which I'm ignorant, in which case here I am sounding like a preachy cow, but I think I'm going to say it anyway, and just be humourless preachy cow girl who's all out of the loop, and stuff.

dismounts soap box. shuffles off, looking vaguely sheepish

Now tagless for your comfort.

ita, are you a Wire in the Blood fan? I'm really enjoying it and I don't know a single other perosn who watches it.

Robin, I've recently started watching. DH and I love it. The only drawbacks are that it's two hours long--it's hard to find that much uninterrupted time to watch.

ita, DH asked me what "Wire in the Blood" means and I had no idea. What does the phrase refer to?
