The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Alas, timing is such that a break is unpossible at this time. The trash hauling guy gets here at noon, so I need to make sure that all of the crapola is out of the house by then. At some point, I also need to take the cat to the vet to be boarded for a few days. I don't want him around while the movers are here. He'll be unhappy at the vet's, but I think it will be less stressful than being here while all his stuff is disappearing and the cleaning fluids are out in force.

Mostly lurking...

That sounds like a good plan, Anne (about the cat). Sorry there is no break time available. Hopefully you'll get a tiny bit of rest after the trash guys come at noon. Good luck!

Thanks!

Right now, the only thing I'm nervous about is the final walkthrough.

I also need to make sure that everything I'm planning to take in the car will actually fit in the car.

Trust my rage

Timelies, all!

It's 9:00 am (almost) and I have done nothing but catch up here and research baby strollers. The stuff I should be studying is sitting right next to me, untouched and lonely. I think I'm going to disconnect my internet so I can't be distracted.

Our wings are not tired.

Hi Stephanie! I think I ended up with 4 of the tiny folding lightweight strollers. I had them in the cars, office, house. I never used my big one. When the boys were smaller I found carriers more convenient because my hands were free then. I had both front and back carriers, but I preferred the front.

Trust my rage

I have 2 front carriers (two friends have given me theirs) and one of those snap-in strollers for the infant seat. Personally, I think lightweight is the way for me to go, but it's mostly just fun to read about all the options and see what's out there.

Okay, I'm disconnecting my router for real now...

Coding and Sleeping

We used only lightweight strollers. The big ones were bigger than we wanted to haul around with us.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

blargh. I hate my job. just because I know that everyone would fall down dead of shock if I actually managed to be positive about anything for once.

brillig

fear of the hardball

ie, fear of the fist-sized, solid projectile coming towards your head at over 50 miles an hour (more for really good batters). One person's fear is another person's survival instinct.

Signed, always sucked at sports because pain was always a Bad Thing.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Stephanie, the Graco Metrolite travel system is great. Lily's too wee for a light stroller just yet, and I hate to wake/unstrap her from the carseat to put her in the sling.

With Connie on the pain/sports thing.
