Ick. Poor Cashmere. I have the window open, but only a crack. It's rainy and blah here today, which actually works out ok...maybe I'll get lots done. Although, not as much as I was hoping, more than likely, since I just made afternoon plans. But, it will be good to get out of the house a bit too.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
but our grade would be lower without the actual item.
Really? huh.
Really? huh.
Yeah. It's not a big deal. This [link] is what I got, so it'll be easy to make. I'm just going to buy some pinto beans and a Ball canning jar. Fill the jar and make a label with instructions...tape it on, put a little pretty fabric over the cover and call it a day. Shouldn't take me more than an hour to go to the grocery store and put it together. Too bad I don't have my color printer here...black and white will have to do.
Ok, finally got the computer to print up my friend's paper. I am going to go edit it now, and then we're going to go to breakfast. Have a good Sunday everyone.
my legs hurt from danceing last night. That's a sign of a good time.
It is too late for snow. I decree it. (I am sure that will make it better)
It's snowing here, too. Just flurries, and nothing is sticking to the ground, but still -- it was 80 freaking degrees 3 days ago! I was sleeping with my air conditioner on! (Though that was more a filter-the-pollen-out-so-I-can-breathe-while-I-sleep issue, rather than a temperature issue.) Insane. I think I have to make more coffee. (I switched to iced coffee a couple of weeks ago, when it started getting warmer -- my iced coffee prep consists of brewing the coffee the night before and just putting the whole carafe into the fridge to chill overnight -- and I made iced coffee last night [for today] out of habit. But I need something hot.)
Beth, I had a dream last night that I was at a funeral -- or maybe just a church service -- and people started swing dancing. And no one thought it was odd or out of place. I blame the swing dancing on you mentioning it.
I've been up since 9:30, which for me is weird as hell. So I have 2 loads of laundry in, with at least one more waiting to go in. I'm still tired, but I couldn't fall back asleep, and I actually have this weird urge to clean, so -- I got up. Huh. Yes. Must make more coffee.

Uh-huh. That's the Midwest for ya'. We had possible snow in the forcast (it was cold enough for snow) but no actual snow AFAIK.
One more week and it will be May!!!! May, let's see... I think I'm supposed to be buying something for my mother. And then I'm taking a train to New Orleans for something or other....
Laundry update: loads 1 & 2 (clothes) are finished and either: waiting to be hung up (for the things that don't go in the dryer) or waiting to be folded (for the things that did get put in the dryer). Load 3 (towels) is in the dryer. Load 4 (sheets) is in the washer.
Now I'm trying to get my checkbook to reconcile with my bank's info. Grr. Arrgh.
Timelies.
I went to bed right after I posted that, Burrell. Tossed and turned another 45 minutes, but I went. Greg kept the babies quiet and let me sleep until noon. Such a nice present.
It's snowing here, too. Big wet flakes in a pretty wild wind, by the looks of it out my window. It doesn't seem fair to have to turn the furnace back on at the end of April.
It's snowing here too.
