Ok, Erin. Insent again.
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Just talked to a nurse. We're supposed to treat the fever and keep an eye on her. She doesn't think it's the shots, because that should be accompanied by a rash, and it's not. If she still has a fever on Monday or Tuesday and it hasn't resolved into a cold or something, they'll want to take a look at her. But she didn't sound too worried. She even said we could go ahead and take her to the baseball game tomorrow as long as she doesn't seem too sick/unhappy in the morning.
Susan, that sounds like the most practical answer. Here's hoping baby aspirin does the trick.
erin/vw, I sent erin a response to her request. I don't think I participated in vw's original survey. Feel free to share the information and if vw needs anymore from me than what's in the e-mail I sent erin, let me know.
Jen, you are so doomed. Sorry about the tough week.
It was surreal. I was just sitting on the couch with my comfy throw, drinking my coffee, when the parents come into my nice clean apartment with armfuls and armfuls of stuff. I just didn't understand what was happening. It wasn't until they started to leave, and the older one started to cry, and they said "It will be ok to sleep over here, don't be scared!", that I finally figured out what was going on.
That is just wrong, Lilty.
{{{Annabel}}}
Annabel is taking a nap now. Poor kid. She looks younger when she's asleep. Like most of the time she's a toddler, but when she sleeps she's a baby still.
Just got home from the Good Date's apartment.
Guh.
Higher brain functions are absent. Lizard brain says "Boy smell good. Boy give excellent backrub. Boy wash my hair and sing to me in shower. Boy sweet and kind. Jen far more doomed than previously supposed."
Awww, Jen. That just makes me all...schmoopy.
Jen and the schmoop! I love it.
So doomed. In such a good way.
Robin -- that's great. Is there some planned training routine or certificate program to get a dog to be a therapy dog?
Awww, poor doomed Jen.
