Oh, Lilty, that would SO piss me off. I've had children spend the night with me before, and I ALWAYS made sure it was ok beforehand. Hell, I won't watch my parents' dog at my place, because he barks too much, and I don't want him bothering the roommates. Guess not everyone has that kind of consideration.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hey, Sparky1, will you send me an email next week reminding me that I need to join AALL and NOCALL?
I will try to remember. Whatever you do, don't be NOCALL's membership chairperson. PITA.
If all goes as planned, you will be pimping a book at Portland. That's why I need to show my face this year.
Blue, red, who cares as long as it's got a thigh slit and show's massive cleavage?
It needs to shimmer, too.

Oooh, I will have to make sure my hat is unpacked by then.

While it is not an every day hat, it certainly deserves to be worn more than once every two years.
Burrell, how did Franny ask for pancakes? I'm trying to picture it -- words? arm waving? I bet it was adorable, and obviously she's brilliant.

A very good point, but you know me and unpacking. At one box every week or so, it may well take me that long.
Annabel was cranky and unwilling to sleep last night. Normally she goes to bed at 9:00; last night she wasn't asleep till midnight. She woke up this morning at 8:30 happy, but with a fever of 101.7. And occasionally she'll cry for no apparent reason, like she's in pain, for a few seconds, then go back to being her usual cheerful self.
Our pede's weekend hours start in ten minutes, so I'm calling the clinic then. The suspects are teething, reaction to one of the shots she had last week (MMR and chicken pox), or That Bug That's Going Around the Neighborhood, even though we can't think of where she would've been exposed to it, unless one of the kids in the nursery Sunday was about to get it.
Gah. $175 to the vet. And I already dropped $200 at the dentist this week.
Poor Annabel! Poor Susan!
Erin, you've got mail.
Try touching her ears, Susan. Could be an ear infection, too. Those are notoriously not obvious to adults in children.
