Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hanging in. Copy-editing myself.ETA: I salute those of you who edit professionally because this is prose I believe in and I'm bored. I can't imagine how bored I'd be otherwise.

I've seen that. Sounds like difficult work. Good luck with it.

Sniff. I miss Lennie. I wish you could have joined us in Ohio. You are on the top of the list of the people I need to meet F2F soon.

Hey. New board.

How to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Heh. I actually did an 8-minute speech/lesson on "How to Defend Yourself from Vampires" for a presentation class here. Got an 'A' too. I made up my own mythology, it was fun.

If you're curious, my conclusion was that your best bet is having a priest bless a can of mace. Plenty of water in what comes out to get a nice holy-water effect, but it's also, you know, mace. Just spray it in his eyes and he'll back off, vampire or otherwise.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hey, all.

I watched a shitload of tv tonight, and don't have work tomorrow, but I think sj and I may be in the same headspace.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have more baby pictures to share: [link]

Also, it's taking me for-EVER to finish my wee half glass of wine. Wine? Is tasty. However, when one has abstained for a really long time, wine is also strong.

A half glass feels like half a bottle used to. Whoa.
