What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Lily is too cute!

Yay, for the good Aidan news!

I need a brownie now. I think I'll have to settle for hot chocolate.

I am PMSing so bad. I just mixed up some cake mix just so I could eat the batter.

meara: to jump back a ways - there are good reasons to go digital, but worrying about x-ray machines isn't one of them. They've fixed 'em so they don't muck up your film. I have travelled with lots of film and they've all been fine. (well in Europe anyway).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

sadly, some of the last couple of airports I have been thru now say don't put you film thru here- it will muck it up. new sequrity stuff.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In American airports, developed film will survive carry-on scanners, but the checked luggage x-rays will destroy it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

From what I've read, film should be safe in a carry-on on domestic flights, but not in luggage anywhere, or in a carry-on for international flights. What I usually do is carry my film in a lead pouch (I think I bought mine at a camping supply store) in my carryon, and ask to have it hand-inspected if I'm going on an international flight.
