I know I'm a bad poet, but I'm a good man. All I ask is that... is that you try to see me—

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oy, vw. The universe needs to back off right now.

Punctuation and a bit of glitter to you, my dear.

Much dentist ~ma to askye. I've got the fear myself. While you're there, try deep breathing -- in through your nose, out through your mouth. It actually helps, because it makes you focus on doing that instead of frightening or painful things.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Dentist~ma to askye.

And I'm sorry, vw.

I just got some good news from my dad. They did some exploratory surgery on Mom this afternoon, and found nothing that they didn't already expect (ie, no cancer in unexpected places). So that's one less thing to worry about.

ETA: If the cancer watch-and-post gets too depressing, please let me know. I'd much rather be posting about tiaras and lemurs and getting it on with a cabana boy in the storage room of the local library. But, well, this is what's on my mind right now. Sorry.
