Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hope vw feels good soon. Hec, does it ever get tiring, shepherding Bitch foibles? Some of them are much more fun than others. Jen, good for you.

Coding and Sleeping

Give her lots of hugs for us.

This makes me think of my 2-year old son. He requests four different types of hugs, there are small hugs, big hugs, squishy hugs, and running hugs.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. I almost put something in my original post saying, "Don't worry, David, I'm being cautious and not giving up my heart too easily."

Yeah, but...he sang to you. Certainly there are exceptions.

and running hugs.

Professional huggers on a closed course, I presume?

Mostly lurking...

I'm awake again...for about an hour...then I'm going to drug myself back into a sleeping state.

Just thought I'd update.

Oh, and Emily fixed me ice cream. My day is complete.

What is even happening?

vw, ice cream is of the good, as is Emily, and as are you.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Yeah, but...he sang to you.

Yes, yes he did. And beautifully at that.

I'm doomed.

Oooh. Was going to request more details of Jen's date, but yay, they were there when I hit "next"! I'm v. jealous.

Thinking much health-ma to Calli's mom.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Jen, I was walking to Coolidge Corner this afternoon and saw a hottie on Harvard Street that looked like you from a distance, and I was going to say, "Hello, you like like a woman who was recently on an awesome date!" Then I saw it wasn't you. Is it wrong that I still wanted to say that? But I didn't.

In Coolidge Corner news - WTF is up with Grand Opening being gone?????!!?!??!?! Anyone know what happened? Did they move? Where will I get all my fun sex toys and things now? WAH!

ETA: Ok, looks like they moved. Phew!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Love the puppy pictures. They made me think of the psycho kitties...

Nearly a year after taking a pair of psycho kitties for a friend who couldn't keep them, we're actually starting to get along well now. Rocky only occasionally walks around the house mewing pitifully, and some of that time there is an actual reason if only I can figure it out. He only runs away in a panic if he's actually startled. He'll come and lay down by me and let me pet him without getting scared. Of course, the crazy coot still wants me to pick him up by the scruff, tuck him under my arm, and rub him all over vigorously. Crazy cat.

His sister Freya is now spending quite a bit of time asleep on my leg. Last night, she started sleeping beside my leg, and gradually moved more and more on it until she was completely hanging over it. It looked so funny, but was absolutely wonderful. Plus, added bonus, there is absolutely no way I can clean house with a cat on my lap. Darn.
