Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The message header was "My goal for you this year." Huh I think she might be saying I need to get off my fat ass and start working out.

I would be SO MAD at any friend that did that to me. But, I am not as mellow and balanced and cool as the lovely Laura.

Hee. Since we trained together for years doing marathons it wasn't out of character. I'd do the same thing to her. She also gave me a gold necklace with a 26.2 charm after our first race. I'll take the shiny motivation with the harsh.

Beth - how are you feeling today? I hope you're well enough to properly enjoy your birthday.

Herding cats for fun

Greetings from Cleveland, where I am typing from Deena's desk. I can see the Michael Parks print Deb sent. DebetEsse brought her drill, conquered the cranky old brick wall and hung it up where it looks purty fine. I'll be glad to go home tonight and sleep in my own bed, but it's going to be difficult tearing myself away from all the books I haven't looked at yet. Kara brings me books and sits in my lap for stories, and Aidan not only drooled on my head when he found me sleeping on the couch, he pressed his face against mine and laughed when I gave him a belly fart. Deena is a lovely and gracious hostess (but you were already pretty sure of that, right?) and Greg has most graciously walked to the drugstore for a repair kit and fixed my glasses for me when the little screw fell out and disappeared into my luggage.

And everybody else? Charming, foamy, delightful - and lives too far away from me. Ima gonna miss 'em all.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{vw}} Much anti-stress~ma to you.

Nora, we should be playing hooky together! Unfortunately, something called the country comes between us doing that.

Happy Birthday, beth b!

Nicole got to the airport fine. I hated to say good-bye. I'm consoled by the thought that we all tend to find any old excuse to travel, so we'll be hooking up again soon.

ION, I finally heard back from the insurance company the condo association uses. They're denying my claim for the damage done to my car by the dipsy dumpster. I think it's time to sue their asses.

Ah Katie, the only thing that helps with my seething jealousy is reading the reports. (and looking at pictures!) I can almost hear the laughter. Nice.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

{{vw}} and {{Laura}} just cuz. It's been a lovely visit.

Happy Birthday Beth!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Katerina Bee, I was grinning the whole way home from Cleveland Thursday night.

I don't know why I'm so amazed at how warm, witty, friendly and sexy the buffistas are en masse.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

What's halfway between Cashmere and Ann Arbor? Sylvania? Toledo?
