Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

Totally unrelated to anything, I picked up the Pillsbury Easy Meals for 2 Cookbook at the grocery store this morning (yes, I'm a sucker for those things they put in the check-out lane). There's actually quite a few yummy looking things that I could make for us. So, yay new recipes! And some of them are summery, which is perfect.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh, Anne, JZ is drawing/painting the coolest Cowboy Bebop cover for the Cowgirl ReBop mix I made for you.

squee!!!!

ION, in less than two weeks, I shall be in St. Louis! Whee!

Tonight, I'm having friends over for dinner. This will probably be the last large-scale meal I cook in this house. (Menu: Roast lamb, greenbeans, mashed potatoes, Key Lime pie.) Mom arrives on Tuesday to help me pack, and we'll probably be having sandwiches, eating out, etc.

thanks, vw. I knew I would have a bad night - so I did plan this for the weekend. It is much easier to nap on the weekend.

Poor Dh he had some work to do this am - client started at 6. his work only took about half an hour, then they said they would call him back. after 2 hours , he called them - and they are missing actual physical pieces of thier network. he is not banging his head on the desk, but that was because he was afraid that would wake me up. he is in the living room now. I hope he is napping.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

HAPPY B-DAY TO DREW!!!! Hope you guys had a blast :)

{{{beth}}} I'm still hurting, too, but you definitely have it worse. I hope you feel better soon.

We went to the GF's parents' house yesterday and saw their adorable 8 week old Maine Coon cat. She is teeny and cute and sweet. It made me remember when my old lady Jo was a wee kitty. There's just nothing sweeter or cuter than babies (of any variety). Aaawww.

Art Crawl!!!

How giant do female Maine Coon Cats get?

So pretty, so huge!

It just started raining. . . . how MUCH do I want to walk to the grocery store?

Not that much.
