Aimée, I found the chiro gave me some temporary relief, but it was really physical therapy that got through the bulk of the pain. My PT swears by ice -- after driving, after exercise, after anything that inflames it.
Horrible man. But good at his job.
Was yours a more constant pain? This comes in and just ow ow ow for a couple of days and then goes. The chiro we now have uses a lot of heat ultrasound, she doesn't do a lot of cracking and adjusting. I'll try some ice today after we get back from lunching.
Stupid bodies being all sensitive and shit. I want to go to the gym!
Mine was pretty much straight through until the PT gave me periods of relief. Now it comes and goes, but is just annoying, not debilitating.
Timelies everyone!
I've had a pretty productive day -- but I'm planning on lounging for the rest of it.
Greetings.

So, I just wanted to add to the gloating to mention that Tickybox really is übercute. Unfortunately we did not take any photos as we figured (correctly) that mom might not be in the mood for a photo-op.
Anyway, it's not like we won't get other chances to take photos. Yes, I'm rubbing it in.
Tickybox!!!
Just had to be said.
Also, I just emailed off one paper. I feel all productive 'n shit.
I was told this week that due to Health Benefit policy changes, (if I manage to avoid being laid off,) I would be eligible for Medical and Dental a lot sooner than the one year that the company originally had.
Under the new policy, I could pay $56/mo for Medica Elect and Delta Dental, or pay $80/mo for Medica Choice and Delta Dental. Add $4 to $7/mo for a vision plan, if I want one.
Anyone want to weigh in on what I should choose? I will be eligible July 1st.
I have no insight on the medical plans, but I can say that I've had Delta Dental in two different jobs, and I was really pleased with it. It covered several fillings, one root canal and a crown.
