Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

(I'm fairly certain that was an SNL fake commercial a few years ago.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I think I need a housecleaner.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In The Big Bento Box of Unuseless Japanese Inventions, there is both the Baby Mop and the Cat Duster. (The Baby Mop is a onesie with a a kind of rope mop on the stomach, the Cat Duster is a set of Swiffer Footies for your cat. Now they got one to stand still long enough to get all four on and take the picture is beyond me.)

I was going to post a complaint about how long it was taking my breakfast to arrive (YES, I am lazy/New Yorker enough to order breakfast on the weekends), but then the doorbell rang, and now I have an egg sandwich and a smoothie. Yay!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Gronk. I am awake and making coffee. I fully intended to sleep in this morning, as I have slept terribly for the last week, but my busy little mind has other plans.

I was earwormed by the "One Day at a Time" theme song as I was trying to get back to sleep. Talk about your own body betraying you...

I think I'll be able to sleep better after my portfolio is done; that's the thing I think about waking and sleeping, so once I turn the URL in Tuesday, I imagine I'll sleep well.

But coffee and Net before I can starting editing and BSing academic pedagogical terms!

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Yay for egg sandwiches!

Timelies.

I am having an incredibly lazy day today. I'm going out tonight, and I really have no clean clothes to wear. I have been trying for the past hour to get myself motivated to do laundry, but so far, it hasn't happened.

Huh. I just checked my GPA and I have a 3.601. And I;ll have 12 hours of A this semester, so I'll grad with a 3.7.

Better than I thought. Isn't it weird, how you think you suck, and then you look at facts, and you don't suck as much as you thought?

Good thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Except for on the couch of sin, where you should suck more.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

But coffee and Net before I can starting editing and BSing academic pedagogical terms!

Erin is me this morning. I have coffee brewing and will be working on a class final project (secondary methods...lots of BSing academic pedagogical terms!) after I wake up fully.

I'm watching Ming make lychee/cranberry salsa and now I want to find out what a lychee tastes like.

Our lychees didn't taste like much. But they were nice chilled -- sort of a sorbet plucked right off the tree -- palate cleansing.
