Tep! Yay!
Deb definitely told the front desk that she'd have a guest but I don't think she gave them your name. I'll make sure that happens before we leave today.
And since it can't be said enough, YAY!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thank you! That way I can hang out in the room instead of in the lobby where people will wander past and look at me.
Wanders by. Looks at Steph.
Nooooooooo!!!
Nooooooooo!!!
You know you're naked underneath those clothes, right?
....or so you think....
Raises single eyebrow.
*sigh* If only I could do that in real life.
After all that talk about how tired I was last night and how I was going to go to bed on time and be properly rested?
I made the mistake of actually reading the notice from City Light about our landlord's unpaid bill (the bills and correspondence usually go straight to his house--we never see them--but I guess they sent a cc to us this time because we're the ones who'd be without power). This made me stress out about what would happen if we don't sort it out in time and our power gets shut off even though none of this is our fault. Which of course ties into my ongoing General Money Angst, which was already bad this week because of a banking glitch (again, completely Not Our Fault, but causing angst and hassle nonetheless--we're close to closing all our accounts with WaMu in a huff and taking our business to Wells Fargo).
So the result of all this was I lay awake until 2:00 a.m. At some point after finally falling asleep I dreamed that my bridezilla coated the floor of the sanctuary in glitter and confetti for her wedding, I had to vacuum all of it up, and the vacuum cleaner broke. Then I woke up at 6:00 because Annabel was briefly fussy. She went to sleep for another hour and a half, but I didn't.
But I've got this grant application to finish up and get out today, so caffeine has been imbibed, then I'm about to feed Annabel breakfast and get to work. I feel exhausted, my TMJ is acting up, and it feels like all the muscles of my shoulders, neck, and face are made of overstretched rubber bands.
General ~ma appreciated that we'll be able to sort out the City Light and WaMu hassles, that nothing else will go wrong and that maybe something good will happen soon, and that I'll get to catch up on sleep sometime soon.
{{Susan}} Poor dear. If I could come over and make you sleep for a while, I would. I hope the electricity thing isn't too much of a hassle to sort out.
I want to be in Ohio.
Seriously, I never thought I would say that. Yay for pictures! Wow! How many Buffistae do we have in Ohio at the moment?
