Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Compassionately intolerant

Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box! Ticky box!

This surges to the top of my list of favorite names ever.

Plus? My very best friend in the world was named Elizabeth Lillian. And Esme is just so romantic.

Supreme congrats to all the Princess' minions.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Welcome to the world, Lillian!

Mostly lurking...

Oh, that's a bummer, Nora. I got a little excited about possible Nora lunch for a second. Well, take care of yourself, and definitely let me know if you need anything. I'm at home all day today doing laundry and stuff, so I'm available.

Lilty, it looks like I'll definitely be hitting Portland between 6-6:30 tomorrow, barring disaster. Any chance of meeting up? No biggie if not, I've got a pretty busy weekend ahead - Friday's pretty much the only open day.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

How long has it been?

It's been a year. I'm gifted in the information falling out of my head department.

Some of it's coming back. I think some of it might never have been in there, since I was doing Corporate Finance and this actuarial stuff is not quite the same. I'll be okay once I quit reading the coursework and do some problems, probably, but the reading is making me feel stupid.

Coding and Sleeping

I thought Lilty was an east coaster. My Buffista geography is pretty off.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Nora}} It is a very stressful thing. I've done the property buying thing several times now, and still very stressful. Not to be discouraging, but there are always lots of things that don't go the way they are supposed to, and lots of things that don't happen in a timely fashion. Expect this and then be delightfully surprised when it all goes smoother than expected.

I have a closing to be scheduled before the end of the month. I expect to hit the panic point shortly. The buyer is ready to go, but I am the holdup. Waiting for my bank to approve changes, and I have to clear the land. Speaking of which, I need to go do stuff. I really don't want any delays.
