Awwww, welcome beautiful Lilly. So happy for this good news. A blessing on your head, mazel tov!
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Welcome to the world, Lillian!
Susan has a new tag, and I should go to sleep.
Lily looks a lot like Paul, only smaller and with no beard.
I did have an epidural, but it was a walking one (no block, just a narcotic through the tube). By the time the epidural went in, we were ready to push. From 4-5cm to 10 in about an hour or two, which goes a long way to explaining why NOTHING was working for pain control.
Gronk. Howdy!
PLEI!!!
PTB!!!
Lee!
How's Belmont?
(And I'm about to sign off for the night, so I'll catch up on it later!)
(But tell me all about the new digs!)
I like it, so far. It's...
Pfft, it's fine. I want to hear about you.
eta: Hee. The view from my balconey is a fantastic one of the bay, and I have a shopping center right down the road with a branch of my bank, and a Starbucks and a Baskin Robbins, and some good quick food places, and a nice sushi restaurant.
Wow. I guess all those "may your labor be nothing like mine" vibes I sent out worked!
t trains vibes on next-door neighbor's house, since she's pregnant with her second and before my experience held the longest labor record among our circle
(BTW, I'm hoping that once I write the childbirth scene in the wip, it'll be cathartic enough for me that I won't have a knee-jerk urge to say, "Did I mention how long my labor was? Damn long, that's how," every time the subject comes up. I might even deliberately write the scene longer and more graphic than I'd dare put in the version I submit to publishers just to help the catharsis along.)
