I decided to stay in Aptos tonight, instead of drive to Belmont. It means I will have to get up ungodly early, but I think it is the best bet nonetheless.

And I've decided to not move and just found my lease renewal form and now I'm all worried that it's too late to renew it (though I suspect I'm just paranoid and unable to read the legaleeese because I'm tired.)
The current lease expires at the end of the month. Surely I can just send this pup in with a check, right? Oy.

I have had the dark chocolate peanut M&Ms. The colors are very goth. I have also had antidepressants. They are both good things, in their places.Still love Ginger though.

Not too bad. There are a couple of supposedly easy tasks (placing an ad for the loom, and another in the local paper for my yard sale) that I keep finding reasons to put off, simply due to the nuisance factor.
My mom is coming up next week to help me pack. I'll be doing some of the easy stuff (books, CDs, DVDs) this weekend.
Also, my dad is flying out here to drive back to St. Louis with me and the cat, and that will be much fun.

I hate the nuisance factor. I'm with you on that.
That's great that your family is coming out to help. And driving with your dad should be nice. I'm glad you were able to work that out. I know you were worried about that. Also, it should be so much easier to pack with your mom. If your mom is anything like my mom, she just makes tasks seem easier...and it's nice to do that with someone...not so boring... My mom came and helped with my living room this weekend, and she took a somewhat daunting task and made it fun. We really had a nice time doing it. I hope it'll be similar for you.
