Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

On a more serious note, whyfore the "oy", Lilty?

I habe a head cold. "Oi" seemed a word I could still say correctly. Also, I am now a British skinhead.

Also, are you going to be around Portland Friday towards 5-7 pm?

I am, actually! Is something cool happening?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oi.

Already I feel like I have a second job.

And it's only just begun.

In positive news, I made an appointment for next week with my old therapist. It is on Patriot's Day, though, so figuring out how to get there will be key. this is to deal with the feelings of anxiety and depression I was having with work related stuff- before this house stuff even came up.

Freaking work.

Well, something cool for me. I'm finally getting up to my Mom's this weekend (I haven't been up to Maine since New Year's at this point), and I'll probably be hitting Portland around that time and looking to get drinks, dinner or both.

Thrive to spite them

Aimee-- those people just floored me. How can you not know that nicotine stained walls and clumps of dog hair will turn people off!!!

The other couple I thought was weird was the ones in the all white house. White everything include furniture, throws, etc and a white baby grand. The only color was a giant elephant painting and fake plants EVERYWHERE. They seemed to have no clue that stark white would make people feel uncomfortable.

I'll be getting out of work at about five, and would totally be up for a drink.

brillig

Someone remind me that paying the bills is pretty much the reason I come to work. I've got my checkbook out, and it actually hurts to write these things out.

I can't even.

Some of them might be secret Aussie sympathizers.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Ugh. I need to get off the sick couch and go get some groceries. The only loaf of bread I have could possibly be ready to get up and walk itself out to the trash on its own.

I should have stayed home yesterday and drank lots of fluids and all, but my friend called me with a half hour notice to go to Fenway for Opening Day, and some things you just make yourself better for. If I feel even more like death for it, so be it.
