Angel: How're you feeling? Faith: Like I did mushrooms and got eaten by a bear.

'A Hole in the World'

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Why should you store vodka in the freezer?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The only childbirth stories I could contribute is the story of my birth. That's the one my mother tells frequently, that starts with "I had YOU by natural childbirth. They didn't have time to give me anything."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why should you store vodka in the freezer?

It tastes better very cold, and the alcohol content is so high that it doesn't freeze.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Why should you store vodka in the freezer?

It gets thicker, which is really nifty.

t edit The vodka gets thicker. The freezer gets fuller, but not technically thicker.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Susan, if there is a history of allergies in your family, cautious is good.

No allergy history, really. I'm just instinctively cautious on the common allergens, and a little lazy too--I get into a rut with what I feed her and how and then realize, oops, she's growing up, so I can't keep feeding her the way I did two months ago.

Plei, we're very happy with our pede, though somehow I doubt you'd want to come all the way to Northgate every time Princess Tickybox has a checkup.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

ya know...i never thought there'd be a time when the sound of ice cream or cake icing didn't sound good. having it in mixed conversation about birthing babies and bowel movements has cured me of that particular misconception.

Thanks for the vodka info. I learn something new from buffistas every day.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Um, Plei? I totally get Babs/Dinah now.

Hee. I notice you also get the Ted love.

And is it wrong to totally love Lady Shiva? Because I so do.

She's the CUTEST KITTEN IN THE WORLD!!!1!

Oh... wait.

You mean the character. Nope. Not wrong.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's discussions like this that make me want to rethink the whole having kids thing altogether. That and I really don't want to move again.

We're planning on sticking with the UWMC, on account of the Close-to-Paul's-Work factor.
