Health ~ma to Deena's niece.
Figuring out check ~ma to Sean (hopefully it will be an easily discovered bank error rather than identity fraud)
had me yelling (in my head), "Ask a Librarian!"
Me too! Questions like this are a dream. Lately, it seems like I've been getting unanswerable (at least with less than 40-500 hours to work on them) questions. In case anyone was wondering, some examples:
My uncle Joe Thompson's first wife lived somewhere in Alaska, or maybe Canada. He didn't like to talk about her, since he had remarried. Could you find me an obituary? I think she died around the late 40s.
Why do people vote Republican, move to Alaska, drive trucks?
when did alaska become a state and what are your major cities and what is your major industries and what crops do you grow and what languages do alaskans speak and what money do you use? (This is easy. But, to the dismay of 4th graders across the country, they have to do their own state reports.)

I really do love my job!

Students like Val are a dream. Is the flood damage all taken care of at your place, Libkitty?
MM has an appointment to have his hair cut by my stylist tomorrow. I believe this will be his first non-SuperCuts haircut.

libkitty, as soon as I saw that last question I knew exactly what grade had submitted it! (My daughter had to do Texas and tried that, but I busted her straight away and made her do the research!)

Get us before and after pictures!
I will try.
I think he should go for a razored bob, myself. With piecey bangs.

Mostly. We've claimed lost books and computers, and have ordered the computers, but they mostly still need to be installed. The books still need to be purchased. But the book damage was not as bad as we had feared. We have reopened, and business is mostly as usual. The ceiling tiles look awful, and they still have major problems with the 7th floor (downstairs from us - where our catalog, web servers, digitization project, and storage for much microfilm, historical maps, and more live). But my computer wasn't damaged and we're open, so I'm pretty happy. Speaking of which, work calls.

Did you tell them: hunt seals, live in igloos and mush dogsleds? Because that's what I'd do....
Huh. Have doubts about new tag...mostly I'm not fascinating, but I liked the sound of it.
Are piecey bangs the same as chunky bangs. If not, and a person has bangs both piecey and chunky, can we call them cheeky.
libkitty, what kind of bangs did my cheeky aunt have, in Alaska?
