My dad has had two sessions of chemo so far, and except for the nausea he's doing fine. He doesn't have any more chemo for a couple of weeks, but has radiation every day next week.

It's my mother's fault, I swear, so it has nothing to do with me going out. When they got back from Canada on Tuesday, she was fighting one off. Which she managed just fine, but not without somehow spreading it to me, damn it. (Okay, it's also possible that I managed to pick something up during the nine zillion hours I was at the clinic yesterday. It's just more fun to blame my mother.)

I'm drinking plenty of fluids and not exerting myself at all. Hopefully, I can trick it into leaving me the hell alone.

I would get a tattoo, but since psoriasis attacks injury sites and I really don't want more of the stuff, I don't think it's a good thing for me to get one.

My totem animal changes with my mood. Right now I think it's the giraffe. Though it's probably the seal. Maybe it's a shapechanger.

I would tattoo a raven on me. Life is pretty chaotic already. I think he'd feel right at home. You know, so perfect he felt no need to do anything worse, so he could just relax and enjoy it. I think I'd even find it comforting. Sort of an acknowledgement that there are constants, even in chaos.
