Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Excellent bargain, Calli! Congrats.

Thanks, -t. It helps that we're past trenchcoat season here in NC, so everything springy is on the clearance racks.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh. No, really, ugh.

I went to bed at 7 pm last night, and woke up at about 8:30 this morning. I have no idea why I am so friggin' tired, but I feel like I go happily go back to bed for a while, but I have to go teach at 11. I have showered and am drinking strong coffee, and am going to watch 24 -- maybe that will wake me up.

I don't feel sick, so I'm just puzzled about the sleepies.

GRONK.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Nora – yeah for house buying!

{{{Gud}}}

Juliana – Your wedding pictures are great! You are so beautiful!

Awesome statue MM!

ways to pack very very light

1. Roll your clothes instead of folding – it takes up less room.
2. Thinner/breathable materials are good for all-purpose use (i.e. khakis instead of jeans) and they’re easier to hand wash & dry if needed.
3. Take only travel sized shampoos/conditioners, etc. You can always buy replacements in local stores.

In me-news, I got my very first order from Lush last week and I just have to say that the bath bombs and the Buffy bar are the best things in the world! I will never be able to go back to the cheap bubble bath or body scrubs I used to get - but that’s ok with me.

One of our trees is in bloom and I've finished the first stage of the new play equipment I'm making.

Nice, Gud! It looks like we're gonna have a pretty spring in KC. All the dogwoods are fluffed out and the tulips in Westport are technicolored and many.

Even the forsythia is large and in charge. It's such a relief from grey, grey, grey.

I love how beautiful blooming trees look although my allergies don't appreciate it.

Missouri has a lot of pretty bloomers: tulip trees, dogwoof, redbud, even some imported cherry trees, which are BEEyotiful.

(OK, I left in the typo because it's pretty funny.)

They do have some nice stuff. I got the coat at Kohls, though, hence the price difference. I just linked to Nordstrom's 'cause it was easier to find a picture.

Very pretty, Gud.

Our tulips have just started blooming around here. And the cherry blossoms are making me go all Houseman about things. [link]
