Oh, wow, GC. That sucks. My friend Joy used to say that should be a game show. People get up and tell their sucky story(Complete with audience yelling "THAT SUCKS!") and the winner gets one sucky prize and one real prize.
'Get It Done'
Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I went there planning on buying some cat stuff and some packing tape. In addition to almost forgetting the packing tape, I also ended up with 5 shirts (but really cheap ones-less then 10 bucks each), and then noticed they had a $5.50 DVD sale, so I snagged The Ref and Center Stage (Pretty men in tights, plus Peter Gallagher!).
This is my problem with shopping: I go into the store planning to buy 2 things and I come out with 8. (And I wonder where all my money goes.)
I will not buy beth and GC's symptoms just because they are listed on e-bay and I can afford them. I will not buy beth and GC's symptoms just because they are listed on e-bay and I can afford them. I will not buy beth and GC's symptoms just because they are listed on e-bay and I can afford them.
DH brought me soup and a brownie for lunch, that helped.
now, I am just giving into my head and letting my brains drift around into the wierd spaces.
Thanks for the pity. Also {{{beth}}}. I jinxed myself - just 3 days ago I said, "Hey I didn't get sick all winter!" Damn universe.
It's certainly my problem at Target. I go in because there's a sale on Tide and wander about going "Ooh. Shiny."
I have some things to return to Target. I usually do my Target shopping on-line to keep the impulse shopping a little bit under control, but I don't want to pay the shipping charges again.
I need some new shirts. target fits my current budget. too sick. I might make it to the cart, but then I would sleep in the seat. and when I woke, I would forget why I was in the car so I would go back into the house.
fyi, if you paid full price for the tickets you're allowed to trade them for a night when the cast members you want to see are there.
Sadly, I was only in the city for about 3 days, and they wouldn't be performing any of those nights anyway.
Plus, it was a whole rigmarole where my mom accidentally bought tickets for the wrong date and we had to sit on the stairs instead of in actual seats anyway.
It didn't matter much. The Elphaba understudy was phenomenal, possibly better (at least with the singing, which is all I can compare) than Menzel, the Galinda was perfectly acceptable to great (though nobody could be as good as Chenowith in that role, I'm certain). Only the wizard was a real disappointment. And, hey, I met both Hil and DebetEsse about an hour before the show, so it was a great night anyway.

Yep. Either that or, "hey, a basic shirt I can wear to work, for $10. Might as well get 2."
