I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

They should film that and show it every Christmas.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey look, it's flirtsville. I can play that game.

Speaking of games, we spent roughly a downpayment on a house at today's game. But...great seats, beautiful day, beer, Italian sausage and a close, well played game with the A's winning. Emmett got a Rollie Fingers bobblehead and one of those 18 inch souvenir bats. We just spent a half hour in the back yard while he took batting practice (vs. a spongey soft ball). He hits amazingly well with a souvenir bat.

Super thoughtfulness as well - Deb dropped by with a chocolate decadence for Emmett. He bounded down the stairs 8 at a time and did not look much like an invalid. JZ and I scored some of her leftover salmon in puff pastry from last night too. Sweet.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Both the game and the food sound wonderful, Hec. I'm glad Emmett is bouncing back so well.

I am beginning to think more seriously about this whole leaving everything here and starting from scratch thing. Packing just seems to be a non-starter.

Anyone want to play literati?

I will.

Just, maybe tomorrow.

Or Monday.

I have a week still.

I was going to offer to help lead you astray, Perkins, but now I'm afraid of the wrath of juliana. I better not.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Hi everyone! I finally finished my conference in Barrow. Still need to do evaluations and such, but I'm pretty much done. I have a whole new appreciation for Allyson and all the work she has done for fan parties. This was a mindboggling amount of work, and we pretty much didn't need to deal with security (well, a little, but nothing like with show biz types). Still, it's lovely to be done, and to be able to come back to b.org. If anyone wants to see Barrow pictures, you can do so at [link]

kinda x-post with Natter

Pfft. My wrath tends to involve getting people drunk, so you're safe for now. Of course, my love also tends to involve getting people drunk. I'm a big believer in confusing my enemies.

Yay! Welcome back, libkitty!
