I'm applying to two different programs. The one I'm most interested in is a MA in Humanities which would combine classes in English, Politics and Cultural studies. A useless degree in some ways.
The other is a credential as a Reading Specialist with an MA in education.
Not much of a press conference, all pretty much stuff he's said before. Reform Social Security with private accounts before it's a bigger problem, we need an energy plan, a free Iraq is a cornerstone in the war on terror, I want Judges who don't try to legislate from the bench, blah blah blah talky point cakes. Why he needed to call a prime time press conference for all this old stuff I have no idea.
Layla graduated?! go LAYLA!
Decided I'm going back to school in the fall
Exciting! What to study?
ETA: nevermind. silly fast thread.
Betsy! I need to pick your brain about dentists and restaurants hairdressers and spas and all sorts of things.
We did a whole bunch of programs at the library for cA stories uncovered. Including a teen art exhibit that just went up yesterday. It reminded me that art is not my talent.
The first lady went to a shakespeare performance that my friend Chris was program director of. It's the first thing that this administration has gotten publicity for that makes me feel proud.
Both of those sound good, Kat.
That's cool, beth. did your library get the CCH grants?
Barney is almost done. Maybe tomorrow will be Spongebob Squarepants. Both kids have been asking about that.
