Oh! Oh! What does Franny think? I love watching the older sibling's reaction. Miss P was delighted and totally thought he was her new doll. But she got bored when he went to sleep and went to ransack visitors' bags. My friend's 18 month old A clearly thought his new sister was an alien threat. He would not make eye contact with her or the person holding the baby. He managed to not look once at his mom (holding the baby) after a first glance when they brought him in. He was perfectly cheerful, but clearly exercising some denial. He got over it quickly, but that first day was hilarious.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

holy crap.

I can't believe that Dixon did that. Wow. Seriously. Wow.

Poor Dixon. Whew. Not necessarily tragic, but so damned close even if the guy hasn't died yet.

Art Crawl!!!

The thing is Dixon doesn't know that Nestor Serrano isn't dead, you know? And there he goes -- flying off to Peru in a Terror!Plane.

I know, Sumi. And, Dixon being Dixon is pretty torn up about it.

Aw. My love for him grows.

hip deep in pie

I have seen the OC, no press conference for me. Mwahahaha! But I have to say, my eyes nearly fell out of my head they were rolling so much.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

My time zone is wasted on me. It's just after five, and I anticipate no problems watching the OC, except I don't watch it. Not that I'm gloating or anything. Instead, I will go to a lovely and very short evensong service and then have a nice walk in the sunshine. Perhaps I may go to the Island Pub and have a beer, since I have now found the one and only kind of beer that I not only don't hate, but actually like.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm feeling pretty good, Kat, apart from the soreness and the tiredness. But given that DH, Franny, and my MiL all have a bad cold, it turns out I'm the perkiest one in the house.

I'd write more, but someone wants to nurse. Again.

I can't even.

I have seen the OC, no press conference for me. Mwahahaha!

Well taunted, Sue. Good job!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If they'd just show this crap live, I'd be golden with the whole OC/WaT thing. Bastards. I don't vote. Why should I suffer?

I knew someone would start saying things about Alias that'd make me want to rewatch after I deleted the episode. Bastards.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

On the SciFi Channel, the Cylons are attacking yet again. Given the choice between a Bush II press conference and that, on the whole, I'd almost rather be on Caprica.
