Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I have a new unspoiled theory about VM: Aaron Echolls is the killer. Based on how Veronica felt she had to primp around him, I suspect that she and Lilly had a long-standing crush on the guy. Aaron obviously is used to being friendly with Logan's girlfriends, and I suspect he went too far with Lilly and killed her out of shame. The Kanes believed that Duncan was responsible and covered up whatever clues were available. On another note, I think that it's possible that Logan was both rapist and killer, too, considering that his romantic interest in Veronica started when he realized that she was looking for the killer. Veronica's discovery of his involvement in her rape might well lead to her discovery about his involvement in the murder.

Or maybe I'm full of bull.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson, that totally rocks.

CI, I really like your first theory. He's certainly demonstrated the temper/agression to be the guy. Although that might also make him too obvious.

Pretty much at this point, the only major male characters that aren't distinct possibilities are Wallace and Keith. I don't think they'd go any of those ways for so many reasons.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

The all white font, all VM thread continues, with:

"...that his romantic interest in Veronica started when he realized that she was looking for the killer..."

Logan was pulling her pigtails way before that.

Duncan is all the bad guys. He is responsible for AIDS.

Because books.

I have a new unspoiled theory about VM

I thought Logan had an airtight alibi for the day of the murder. I could be wrong, though. And I totally saw a train wreck coming in terms of Logan and Veronica, but last night still hurt. She wants to trust him -- I want to trust him -- but while his attraction to her feels real, it all seemed too good to be true from the beginning.

Sigh.

VM: Duncan is the Antichrist. He invented the IRS.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

VM: Aaron works. partially because he is so low on my radar. I am guessing that things will come out about Wallace's invovlment, what Veronica has been doing, where her Mom is that will make it all messy. Wallace's mom and kieth seem to be looking for uncomplicated right now.

Hmm, something tells me that Gus doesn't like Duncan , but I can't quite put my finger on what...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I use almost every possible combination. For checks and official stuff, I use my first middle initial (I have two) and a "III" at the end. Professionally, I generally leave off the "III," since neither my father or grandfather were chemists. A lot of my business correspondance get signed "Ed Lastname." I use three initials for initialing stuff.
