Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was a girly girl who wanted to wear the frilliest dresses possible, strap on a sword, and go to the swamp to hunt dragons.

This is my niece. She climbs trees and stuff in her flower girl dress. And why shouldn't she? It's not like she'll be required to wear it ever again to some fancy occasion

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Thanks, ita! It was the faycullen.com site that I was remembering. Love the Edwardian rings.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You are not boring, and the wee one is gloriously pwetty.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you. She's so amazing. Watching her figure things out is astounding to me. "Wait, these can go in my mouth??"

libkitty!!!

Your work here is done. Library card has been acheived and I'm officially hooked.

As if the universe felt it necessary to give me a sign...the very first audiobook my eye fell on was the very last one I rented (and enjoyed). Okay! I'm in.

Thanks so much for telling me to mention the pin. The librarian did not do it until I asked.

I rentedborrowed a thriller, precisely because it is read by Keith Szarabajka t /shallow , plus a 12th century romance. And I can keep them until the 17th of May. Wootothehoo.

How sad is it that I'm so excited? And how ashamed am I that I've lived 2 blocks from the library branch for 10 years and have never set foot inside?
