I had red rain boots when I was little, and could never understand why I couldn't go outside and jump in puddles in any kind of rainy weather--I didn't care if it was cold or thunderstormy out, so why should Mom?

Leif needs some little rain boots, he loves jumping in puddles and wearing his green dragon rain coat.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

When I was a kid and had training wheels on my bike, I loved to park it over a puddle so the back wheel would not be touching the ground, only the water in the puddle (it'd be held up by the training wheels). Then I'd pedal like mad and spray water all over the place.

It's cool how much fun kids can have with a puddle....

Leif likes mud too. Last week we got mud all over himself, including lots of mud in his hair. When I noticed what he was doing his sister told me "I didn't tell him to do it."

Yeah, as a kid it was kinda cool to step into mud and then have my boots stay stuck in the mud when I pulled my foot out.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

the most fun part of your taxes is the library. Unless the firemen work out in your local park.

I heart beth to pieces.

Jeff, it's wonderful to have you back. All best vibes for continued best health.

Congratulations to the fiona family, and much placenta-ma to fiona.

I want to go to Jesse's mom's church!

And dangit, my coffee cup's empty. How's that happen when I'm not looking, huh?

A North American blackfoot coffee ferret drank it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, yes, I remember doing that just for the fun of it. Then hopping around on one foot so my sock wouldn't get wet, because I never liked the feeling of wet socks.

We have some great pictures of my brother, my sister, and I all playing in a pile of mud that was an intermediate stage of a landscaping project. I remember doing it and how much fun it was, but I can't remember why my sister was wearing a pink velvet dress.

Parents, your children will wash. Their clothes will wash. Let them play in the mud.

Up with the sun

Fiona, I'm sending healthma and growma to you and the baby girl.

Jeff, I'm so glad you're back! Thanks for telling the saga.

Everyone else, timelies. Oh, and I agree with the guess that Robin's coworker and the date probably met on nerve.com, or else something like furryandproud.com.
