Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was keeping an eye on a mansion on Jackson Ave for a while, because it dropped from $998k to 950k, and I figured if I waited long enough it might drop into my range...

hee hee. So my friends are doing a Hate the 80s night in a couple of weeks for their store's anniversary and as a run up to it they are posting some pictures from the past on the store's blog. My friend brought them over our junior year yearbook today.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Betsy!

We are hosting the seder tomorrow night. There is a large pot of chicken soup with matzah balls in our fridge. There is also a 13 pound turkey in the fridge. There will be 7, 8 at the most, people at the seder. Why did we agree to this?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Why is it still fucking 1:30? Why isn't this day over? I knew coming in to work at 8am would mess me up. I need more coffee. Or gelato. Probably both. Should I bring some gelato back? What flavor?

Wheeeeeee! You look like 1/4 of the kids I graduated with, including me at least half the time.

Mint chocolate! Or, that's what I would get if I had a chance to run out to the gelato place at the mall today.

I can't even.

I'm fairly certain I've seen chainmail bikinis offered for sale.

Huh. Chainmail bikinis are kind of ubiquitous in the medieval recreationist world in summertime. Why? Good question. Not like medieval folks would have worn anything like that, but when has that stopped people? Also, yup, chainmail is very catchy on any hair in the vicinity. I don't really recommend it for any purpose other "hey someone is imminently going to hit me with a sword", but whatever floats boats, for sure.
