Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

There's a townhouse in my neighborhood that's on sale with an asking price of $20 million.

[EDIT: $20M not $30M: [link] ]

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy happy Birthday to Betsy--fabulous cook, snarky raconteur, poster of cool links, incisive thinker, lover of flowers, and all round enjoyable Buffista!

Michael Rosenbaum in black leather

He's busy.

Well, drat. I will interrupt my self-drowning for a pout.

OK, 'bout done with that.

The zip code I work in has everything from $5K (ok, so those are the ones that are boarded up and probably don't have a roof) to $1.5 million. It's an old neighborhood.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, right, I had a question.

Guy e-mailed me and wants me to quote an hourly rate for a contract job. Do I just quote the rate (which I'm pretty attached to), or do I bother justifying it with my years of experience and my soon-to-be graduate degree?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Just quote it.
