I don't run with the trail runners. That wasn't the purpose of the link. The only time I've done one of their runs (Mallibu Creek Park) I had my ass thoroughly kicked. I walk it instead.

It's just that they've written up some beautiful trails with mileage and their explanations are really good. Click on any of the trail runs and you'll see a brief explanation.

I'd think any of the stuff in the Santa Monica Mountains, even if it is far west like Malibu Creek Park is closer than trying to get to Hollywood for you.

Cashmere, I'm with you on not being sure I get Gus's point. I've been mathing on this for a long time. I'm going to post it, and let everyone laugh at me, and show me where I am wrong.
