Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Always Anti-fascist!

"Macarthur Park"= embarrassing. Hate. Even Donna Summer could not save it. Hate the bankruptcy bill too, but I opined at length about in lj. I love my husband's spicy brains Oh, hi, JZ.(stops fondling Hec's brain) You are a lucky woman, at least till you mishear some lyric and sing it. I don't have wallpaper because I am a techno-git, but it wouldn't be me because I hate to look at myself.

What is even happening?

More people voted against repealling the estate tax than voted against the bankruptcy change? *boggle*

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

Also, fabulous hair!
Always a plus.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I got a nice note from my boss about the thing today:

Not surprising that you should. Great that you did!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So, here in LA, it's Mayoral Race time. On my drive home from the train station, there's a giant billboard with one of the candidates name on it, in billion foot tall letters. If Villaraigosa loses, I imagine him standing in front of this billboard, fist shaking in the air, screaming, "HAAAAAAAHN!!!"

Now tagless for your comfort.

Bigger impact on the bottom line.

Bigger credit card industry lobby.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I get to vote for two run-off candidates. Along with Villaraigosa/Hahn there's Rosendahl and Krissilof (or however she spells it). Luckily at least in the second race I'm okay with either candidate.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My digital cable has no guide for me tonight. WTF? Is that Michelle Forbes on Alias? .... and I see it is.

The people we bought our house from had a three-foot photo-oil painting of the wife in her wedding gown hanging above the master bed.

OMG, THE HORROR.

OMG! I'm finally hearing MacArthur Park!!!

I had that experience a couple of months ago myself. Of course I've heard it several more times since then.

And! I received a compliment on my hair from some bigwig.

Yay!
