The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

What's the scale, Liese? Looks like each square is less than a yard, but more than a foot.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Liese: Work areas are too near the entries. The front door and the concentration zone should be very apart.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Minivanman! Good to see you, dude!

That kitchen will be pretty dark, unless you have skylights.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My first thought was that the kitchen looks small. there should be a good pantry area there - esp if you are looking for things like sustainability - because long term food storage is part of that in my mind.

happy noisedesign day - but because my birthday can not be contained by a day .... today I open a scary card from my MIL ( a kitten with a large lipstick grin), got a card from a neighborhood friend, went out to dinner with my DS and BIL, open present from them - battery operated paper laterns for the yard, opened presents from my mom - asort of mod ladybug pin and a book - good bugs for your garden ,and now i am thinking about an early bed time ( ok - that has to do with recovering from stupid lung illnesses) .

Matt says:

happy birthday Drew!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Ethanol has eroded ND's caps. Silly ethanol.

caps are hard to do when you've been drinking and you are typing with your thumbs.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, birthday vodka!

Looks like each square is less than a yard, but more than a foot.

It's roughly 2 square feet each, er, square. But you know, Sims dimensions, so there's some fudging.

Work areas are too near the entries. The front door and the concentration zone should be very apart.

Elaborate, please! I put the office near the entry for ease of potential client access. Shouldn't have?

That kitchen will be pretty dark, unless you have skylights.

This is true. I could at least put mirrors over the sink, but gaining the space of moving the kitchen did cost me my light and my dishwashing view.

It is also smaller than former iterations. The pantry is a problem. That was one of the the things (along with the linen closet) that I lost on this version. I have room for it, but it would be awkwardly situated, against the far east wall.
