dcp, It has all been rain and ugliness today. There was 15-20-gusty Friday, but I was locked in a room with a computer. Rats.
That is you with the satellite on the hook in those DTV commercials, right? Fess up!
t Dude, there are womens listening! Don't ever let them know flying kites can make your delts cry for mercy. They'll pull your Bitchin' Dude card!
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday NoiseDesign!
Busy weekend here. Last night we went to the Birchmere to see the latest
incarnation of the Four Bitchin' Babes, which was a good show. Today our dance group had a gig which went well except for me getting sunburn on my chest. Tomorrow we go to see the Nationals play.(Note to self: remember sunscreen)
Sheryl, I love the FBB! I went to a show, eh, it was probably more than a year ago, and there were six Bitchin' Babes that night. It was such a blast.
Jen, you probably saw the reunion show. We saw that, too.
Heh. No, but there is a regular at the park who flies a quad-line parafoil from a cart. He can build up some impressive speed, but the really amazing thing is how he works his way back up-wind.
... who flies a quad-line parafoil from a cart ...
Never let English stand in the way of your hobby...
If you ever see a guy holding both hands up in the air with a faintly panic-y expressions, while racing past you on something that looks like a chariot built by a bycycle maker, you will understand dcp.
the reunion show
Yep, that sounds right.
Saw a guy in a BtVS tee at the show, too. I don't know why I remember that random fact, but I do.
Oops. Sorry for the jargon overload, especially since I got it wrong. Turns out they are called "buggies," not "carts." [link]
They are called carts in WI. These Brits are always a little daft, like they think they invented the frickin' language, or something.
Farce is not for beginning directors. At least tech was short.
