On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Go Allyson, go!

sara, the sister was in the first (couple of?) episodes, but then went off to the land of unfortunately-aged soap opera children.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We need a word similar to 'gronk' that implies both 'gronk' and 'I need my ass kicked.'

I suppose we could add 'timelies' in there ala 'gronklies.'

Our wings are not tired

NoiseDesign, I'm going to start wishing right now that you don't have a Very Buffy Birthday.

That is so sweet!

So far it's looking like tomorrow is going to be just fine. I actually have the day off and I'm having a Birthday Party that night up at Howl at the Moon in Universal Citywalk. Any locals who want to attend are welcome to come join. I tried to hit folks with an email a few days ago but may have missed some.

Ah. I've seen only a few, incomplete episodes from the first season.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read somewhere that the sister may get a spinoff.

Cruel joke, I'm sure.

I think Ryan and Seth make sense -- just not in as fun a way as last year.

Allyson, drop on by ANY TIME. IJS.

Are you ready to be strong?

From way back:

Phil is on the cover of World Poker Tour S2.

Hec, you know Phil Hellmuth???

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

ita, that's just ...scary.

Whee! I get to go out to lunch and walk in the nice pretty sunshine. Wish me please-don't-let- her-pick-the-bad-indian-diner.

OK, kidding.

Up with the sun

I read somewhere that the sister may get a spinoff.

I vaguely remember that, too.

She was 11 or 12-ish first season, right? Wait another year, and she'll be a comely teenager, perfect for adding to the cast. (Obvious storyline for her first episode back: she flirts with Ryan and thus causes Marissa to drown her sorrows in a full bottle of vodka, again.)
