There's a baby whale in the Delaware River near Trenton, NJ. Beluga whale. Seeing a whale with NJ in the background is odd. The people are flocking. I'd flock, but, look, there it is on my TV. The NJ Marine Unit is protecting it from would-be weirdos. It's very far from home but does not seem to be in distress.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whales??? In rivers??? Whatever next? (whales in lakes -- I know)

I have finally resolved a contradiction. When Michigan says they have the nation's first highway, they either mean "nation's first mile of concrete highway built" or "nation's first "super highway" (Woodward Avenue between Detroit and Pontiac) was an eight-lane divided highway with a 40-foot median."

I don't know what the other states mean that also say it, but I feel better now.

Judicial tyrrany. Yeah, tyrranically preventing religious zealots from steamrolling the rights of everyone in the country, can't have that.

Trust my rage

I see that Focus on the Family now has a special Judicial Tyranny section.

I wish I hadn't read that because now I want to scream - or argue - or call Dobson out of his depth.

From a headline in Gud's link:

Dobson: Jefferson's Predictions of Oligarchy Have Come True

I think I just threw up in my mouth a LOT.

I just hope this anti-judge crusade doesn't have legs. It's kinda scary.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I sit back and smile. The lunatics are running the asylum. The wingnuts finally got their chance at power and have horrified a nation.

What is even happening?

Spring Hill Mining Disaster, Aimee. The close, minor harmonies are incredible.
I can't believe I've never heard this song, but I don't remember it. I have to go digging through our CDs.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a LOT.
That any group that far to the right can complain about oligarchy with a straight face is beyond me.
