Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Thanks for all the insurance advice, guys. I fired off a query at NetQuote. It feels kind of ooky giving up my contact info on internet though. I'll wait & see if someone contacts me with better rate.

Alias is one of my watch-when-I-feel-like-it shows. I am bored by the Syd/Vaughn stuff, but Jack Bristow rocks my world, so I've been sticking around. One good new show that just started is the one that comes after Alias called Eyes, which is about a bunch of slickster PIs and has proven itself to be fast-paced and entertaining. They've only aired two episodes so far, but I'm finding Tim Daly a delight. Also, it has A.J. Langer (Rayanne from MSCL), whose character I adore.

If I only had a brain...

I sometimes sing "Oh, how I hate to get up in the morning!" At least I sing the first line, then the kids scream "Stop it, MOM!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A.J. Langer (Rayanne from MSCL), whose character I adore.

I don't have a read on her character yet. In the first ep, she seemed a bit bookish and reticent, but in the second, she was hamming it up with the best of them.

I like AJ, and enjoy watching her work. I just divest myself of consistency expectations. It's a bit early in the season to be doing that, but Tim Daly is a total delight.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Now that's just harsh.

I swear I was saying it really nicely.

Just work a little harder Jesse.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yes!

Whooot!

Except none of my clothes fit.

Same here.

But I guess that means NEW CLOTHES!

Whoot!

I got the tiniest purse the other day. It's a cute little Nine West thing. I can carry it or toss it in the diaper bag. It's awesome. Although, I really want the new Coach scribbles bag.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Coding and Sleeping

I don't really watch TV except for the recorded stuff I watch when using the Treadmill. Right now Babylon 5, next up Futurama.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have so many little purses I never carry, it's ridiculous. But I always want more! They're so cute! And they always fit. I mean, my stuff doesn't necessarily fit in them, but I don't have to try them on, do I?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I once, reflexively and in a sleepy haze mind you, kicked my mother in the chest when she leaned over to cheerfully wake me up.

From that day forth she'd stand in the doorway and yell and flick the light.

It was in no way intentional, but it cured that cheerful shit and good.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I sometimes sing "Oh, how I hate to get up in the morning!"

I do that! "Oh, how I hate the bugle's call!"

No one is gonna tell me my lunch is safe to eat?
