These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm up! But not for long!

Long week, positively exhausting, cumulating with interviewing 2 people for potential jobs, and having my own review. Which was good, but still stressful.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey Perkins, you about?

Burrell, I wasn't, and by now you are probably asleep. I am sending my cell number to your work email, in case you want to talk to me tomorrow morning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

GOOD MORNING BUFFISTAS!!

Where is everyone?

I did my taxes so long ago, it's funny. Considering I used to be the queen of going to the post office at 10 pm on the 15th.

I have to run a focus group this afternoon, and I feel unprepared, but yet am not quite sure what to do to prepare. It's a quandary.

Sometimes evil drives a minivan.

Veronica Mars got renewed!!! I don't even know if anyone else here watches it anymore, but I'm ecstatic.

I'm ecstatic, too. I threw a Veronica Marsathon last weekend to convert my non-VM-watching friends (who all are hooked now) and am glad that they and I will have another year's worth of episodes to love!

Our wings are not tired.

This is a ghost town today. I'm going to imagine that the Buffistas are all romping through the park on this pretty day flying kites.

Trust my rage

I'm sort of happy for Charles and Camilla this morning. They may not be glamorous, but I like the idea of love triumphing after 30 years.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've always thought their story would make a good novel. I'm delighted, and wish them all the best.

Ditto.

I have a whole thing about couples "looking good together," and they totally fit that for me. I know it's a little weird, since there is so much more than the physical with couples, but I always like it when couples look like they go together. Charles and Camilla are both kind of funny looking middle-aged people who look like they'd rather be out in the country, hunting or whatever. It works for me.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm happy for them too -- it's always struck me as a more interesting than the fairy princess stuff. They're just obviously right for each other.
