First of all, I am totally driving over to Gud's house for a beer now that I know the address.
Cool. Emmett can play in the play yard or use the massive open space to the north. My neighboorhood looks like the boonies compared to everyone else.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

My parents' neighborhood is so in the boonies that it doesn't exist for Google.
I can see where sara works! If'n I remember where we picked you up for lunch that one day.
That one is at least 3 years old....

I went tooling around Joshua Tree in the google maps and sadly they don't have the nice high res images for the places I go climbing. But they did have high res for much of the areas we drove through the other weekend while looking at wildflowers.
The desert looks so different from above.
Ohhh, that satellite thing shows the marina we're in and Johnny Carson's huge old monster yacht right behind us, making our 50 footer look like a dinghy. But those maps are old, because the marina across/behind us is all construction now and Johnny's boat has been in Mexico for a while now.
When you zoom out from any of the links you can see which areas have detailed maps. My sister's house was wide area and geographic. I couldn't even find her lake.

WHEEEE!!
Also, you people are making me very nervous with all the real address postings.
Me too, Wolfram. Even if it didn't make me nervous, I don't think I'd post it, as the photo of my area isn't high res, doesn't point to the correct house (which the trees nearly hide). Plus, I live in a very green area, but it doesn't look green in the photo. It looks brown. Feh.
I would think it would be harder in a city with buildings close together like NO or NY. My house is easy because it's one street down from a school and the 5th house from the big cross street.
When I say I can see the azaleas in mom's front yard, I mean I can tell that's what they are. On the satallite they look like dark blotches.
