My building is somewhere in here, but I can't pick it out because the streets all look alike.

When I put in my address, it had a funny shaped red pointer thingie that pointed right to my house. Well, actually, it pointed to my nextdoor neighbor's house, but that's common with internet maps. The town, and the previous owners of our house finagled a piece of our lot onto the next, years after ours was built, to give the people nextdoor enough frontage to build.
I was able to find Deb's house just by dragging and having a general idea where the streets go. Her place is visibly green and set back from the street (which is uncommon in SF).
You can see the backyard fence and the patio behind the house What looks like an empty lot to the north is actually my yard too. It looks like this map predates the rosebeds though.
First of all, I am totally driving over to Gud's house for a beer now that I know the address. Second, I think the satellite shots of San Francisco have higher magnification or they flew closer or something. Because I can see my laundromat, the McDonald's next to Amoeba etc.
The thing is, I wonder how old the satellite maps are. I wonder because the satellite picture of my building downtown has the old name on it. Like, 6 months ago old name.

The CNN article mentioned the maps were about a year old.
Those satellite maps are wicked cool, except my house is apparently located at the top of my actual block.
Also, you people are making me very nervous with all the real address postings.

Ah!
